This hat is handmade with 100% baby alpaca. Alpaca is a very different fiber than sheeps wool and typically won't feel scratchy, it is considered a hypoallergenic fiber.
Baby alpaca is a fine, light weight fiber that will keep you warm without the bulk.

This hat is hand knit by Nancy Huatta in the Quechua tradition of hand knitting. Nancy’s community lives on Taquile Island in Peru. This hat is HANDMADE WITH LOVE!
